Andreas Fröberg
Music doesn’t rush.
It carries its weight quietly —
breathing, hesitating.These are fragments:
memory, stillness, rupture.Piano as presence.
Beauty shaped by tension.

About
Andreas Fröberg is a pianist and composer whose music moves between stillness and tension, beauty and fracture.Rooted in Nordic minimalism, his work is quiet but not tame — slow-moving yet emotionally direct. Melodies emerge like memories, textured with imperfection, silence, and unresolved questions. These are pieces not just for rest, but for reckoning. Music as a kind of listening — inward, honest, unfinished.

Medications
Solo piano LP · 2019This album began as a question.
What might happen if these names —
Clozapine. Zopiclone. Lamotrigine. —
were allowed to drift beyond charts and prescriptions, into music?Medications isn’t a statement.
Not an argument, or a critique.
More an attempt to listen inwardly —
through names and experiences that carry weight, complexity, and care. Each piece moves at its own pace,
not always slowly, but with care.
Melodies emerge — sometimes clearly, sometimes barely —
held in a space where resolution is neither expected nor avoided. They are fragments —
not answers, not narratives, but gestures of attention.Written in uncertainty,
held in presence,
shared with care —
for anyone listening.

You and You and Me
Solo Piano EP · 2020Three piano pieces.
Simple in structure — but meant to hold something gently. You and You and Me took shape in the spring of 2020, during a time marked by distance and uncertainty. The music doesn’t offer answers,
but perhaps a place where closeness can be imagined — to those we love, and to those we haven’t yet learned how to.The pieces existed in different forms for a long time. They found their final shape gradually,
gathering towards a shared direction.

One and a Half Ear
Solo Piano EP · 2022This EP comprises eight solo piano pieces. Each track is a quiet exploration, inviting the listener into a space of introspection and subtle emotion. One and a Half Ear continues the journey of exploring the nuances of human experience through minimalist piano compositions. The pieces are intentionally sparse, allowing each note and silence to resonate fully. The music does not seek to tell a story but rather to provide a canvas for personal reflection. It embraces the imperfections and uncertainties that are inherent in both music and life.
